Announcing No Pay GetawayIndependence Blue Cross is committed to developing innovative products and services to help our members lead healthier lives and to strengthen the health of our region. One of our most innovative programs is Healthy Lifestylessm, which offers wellness initiatives including Health Coaches, reimbursements for gym memberships and incentives to lose weight or quit smoking. To further encourage members in a non-traditional way to improve their well-being, IBC announces No Pay Getaway, an innovative promotion that rewards members who actively make healthy choices. Eligible members who get a flu shot, or enroll in a weight loss or smoking cessation program between October 10, 2007, and December 31, 2007, are encouraged to go to www.ibx.com and enter No Pay Getaway to win:

For members who live outside of PA, NJ and DE: A check for an equivalent value can be awarded in place of the First and Second prizes, as these prizes are local to the Philadelphia area. No Pay Getaway prizes will be awarded on or around January 18, 2008. ExclusionsIneligible members include any member who was not a member on October 9, 2007, Federal Employees Benefit Health Plan and Medicare members, Independence Blue Cross employees and their immediate family or household members, and members of affiliated companies or distribution agents and brokers.
