IBC eBulletin - High-Deductible Health Plan Update: Certification Requirements - Earlier this year, we issued a reminder about Independence Blue Cross’s (IBC)
policy on employer-funding of high-deductible health plans (HDHP). The IBC
policy states that customers may not purchase an HDHP and contribute more than
50 percent of the member cost-sharing with additional funding or coverage
sources. This policy applies to Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Health
Reimbursement Accounts (HRA).

IBC eBulletin - IBC is making Blue Solutions® even better - We are pleased to announce that we are improving the administration of our
Blue Solutions product portfolio by transitioning all small group customers
(2-50) with deductible medical and prescription plans from calendar year to
contract year benefits beginning in 2012. This transition will effectively standardize benefit periods to ensure that members have a full 12
months to meet their deductible.

IBC eBulletin - IBC selects ICORE as its exclusive specialty pharmacy provider - We are pleased to announce that we have selected ICORE Healthcare (ICORE) as
our exclusive specialty pharmacy provider. Effective February 1, 2012, ICORE
will fill all prescriptions for specialty medications provided through
Independence Blue Cross and administered by FutureScripts®. We will
no longer fill prescriptions through Acro Pharmaceutical Services.
