February 2010 Broker Notes

As a reminder, on 10/30/2009, Independence Blue Cross announced significant changes to the Sole Proprietor / Licensed Professional segment.

The following denotes the mentioned changes:

• Effective 5/1/2010, IBC will no longer offer coverage to Sole Proprietors / Licensed Professionals. This makes 4/1/2010 the last available effective date for any new Sole Proprietor / Licensed Professional installation.

We understand that we are all in a difficult market and we apologize for making things even more difficult with this reminder.
