January 2006 Broker Notes
Kick off 2006 with a jump in your commission level
Are you earning as much commission as you could be? FBP pays on a graduated commission schedule that rewards production. Not only do you make more by signing up more cases, your commission percentage may increase on new cases. Find out where you are on our graduated commission schedule and how many more cases you need to get to the top.
2006 Key Initiatives
FBP is committed to consistent improvement and enhancement of its services and administration. With an increasingly competitive marketplace and the emergence of value-oriented customers, we will be releasing new tools throughout the year to assist you in your quest to grow and retain existing customers. Some of the tools we are looking to release:
- Online benefits administration through our web site that will allow brokers and customers to access group/employee specific information in a secure environment
- Online broker commission reports
- Alternative commission payment options such as direct deposit
- New products and services including new commercial health plans, new Medicare choices, flexible spending accounts, and 401k options.
1099 statements
We will be generating 1099 statements in the end of January 2006 for 2005 earnings. If you have any questions regarding your statement, please contact us as soon as possible.
Broker Side Notes
Please make sure that FBP has an updated copy of your active PA state insurance license. As a courtesy, FBP will begin e-mailing reminders to our producers 90 days in advance of their license expiration date. This should allow enough time to acquire CE credits, renew a license and submit it to FBP. If you have any questions regarding the status of your license, please call us immediately at (610) 482-1800, toll-free at (800) 892-1120 or e-mail us at sales@flexiben.com.
Speaking of CE credits, The Greater Philadelphia Association of Health Underwriters (GPAHU) will be holding its Winter CE Event on February 8th at Whitemarsh Valley Country Club. Earn two CE credits for PA and NJ. The event is free for GPAHU members and $35 for non-members. Contact Karen Mardis kwmardis@gpahu.net to register.
